Remanufactured Engines

The engine in your car is on its last legs and you are looking at the cost of buying a new car, or at least a ‘new’ used car.

But everything else on the car is just fine.

Perhaps you have spent a lot of money keeping it in tip top shape, or on adding expensive accessories.

It seems an awful waste to throw all that work and money away for next to no return.

Or perhaps you still owe money on the car and cannot afford the pay it off.

The Answer Is . . .

Fit a Re-manufactured Engine

Replacing your car’s engine may be a wise alternative to purchasing a used car, especially if your trusted vehicle is in otherwise sound condition.

There is no need to go into debt for a car when you can just replace the engine with a remanufactured engine for your car.

There are many benefits.

  1. Fraction of the cost of replacing the whole car
  2. Don’t lose the money invested in your existing car to date
  3. You know your own car – a used car is totally unknown to you

Do your research

When considering an exchange engine for your vehicle, it is important to do your research and ensure that you make an informed decision in order to receive the best value for money.

Be aware of the jargon used in the industry, especially the terms used to describe “exchange” or “change-over” engines. You should compare the processes and parts used by the manufacturer and make sure that you get a written guarantee that details everything you are receiving.

For peace of mind, we recommend the use of a “Fully Remanufactured” engine, as supplied by HM/GEM engines, Australia‘s largest supplier.

We also recommend that you replace all of the ancillary components that are required in an engine fitment, and be sure that these costs are accounted for in any quote you receive.

HMIGEM engines are supplied with a 3 year UNLIMITED kilometre warranty on all private use passenger car engines.
